Choose a word of the month

 

We all need a bit of focus sometimes and what better way to create a focus for August than to set yourself a word for the month. This word will become your mantra and your guide. Try to hold your word in your mind every day and live according to it. Your word can guide your decisions and help you focus on what is important to you. It can help you to build useful habits based on what you need.

Here are some examples of words you might choose (this is not an exhaustive list, your word can be anything that works for you):

Courage

Breathe

Calm

Friendship

Simplify

Focus

Prioritise

Adventure

Self Care

Healthy

Once you have chosen your word, you might simply hold it in your mind and remind yourself of it every morning. You could write it in your diary every day, make it your wallpaper on your computer or phone or write it on a post it and put it somewhere you will see it regularly.
