I came across this cartoon which I think is a brilliantly simple way of describing an issue that affects so many people –  our lives reflecting the negativity we heap onto ourselves.

When you consider that as humans we are always thinking, if our thoughts are very negative it is not surprising that our experience of life and the energy we give out to other people is also very negative.

Does this video ring any bells for you? Are you met with unkindness or self criticism when you look in the mirror?

If you are feeling stuck, negative or disenchanted with your life or if you are lacking in confidence, start paying attention to how you are speaking to yourself. When you look in the mirror, who do you meet? What voice are you greeted by?

We can only live a truly happy life when we are able to create a best friend in the mirror who can support and encourage us.

Once we create positivity within ourselves, then our relationships, our decisions and every part of our lives can reflect this positivity.

Try this simple exercise to start to really identify who you meet in the mirror.
